Technical Capability
Our Technical Capabilities lie on the following 3 aspects:
At present, we have three product lines:
Integrated Service Platform Telecom System (ITS)
Hardware/OS is based on telecom-class blade-server platform (CCPU ATCA Architecture), commercial mini-computer platform (IBM/SUN/HP) and 3rd Party framework.
Application/Services include Voice Portal Application (Intervoice platform), Prepaid Service Platform.
Integrated Service Platform Application Framework (IAF)
Under unified systematic architecture, different applications and services can be developed and deployed through different protocol gateway, including different kinds of Value Added Services:
-
Short Message Service
- MMS Service
- WAP Push Services
- WAP Portal/Web Portal
- mGaming Service
- Voice/Message Chatting Service
- Instant Messaging with Voice Chatting
· …
Integrated Service Platform Content Management System (ICMS)
Based on ICMS, self-owned/3rd Party or combined content can be easily delivered to the subscribers over different network through different access channels, such as: interactive SMS/MMS, WEB/WAP Portal, VXML based Voice Portal, Java User Interface etc.
Furthermore, integration with operator’s Service Delivery Platform (SDP) of different vendors (such as: Ericsson, Huawei etc.) will enable smooth migration to new business model and enable Service Provider to take advantage of the telecom-class network capabilities for more powerful service capability, including: Digital Right Management, Professional Engine for Mobile Content Adaptation, Multi-Channel Portal etc.
Mobile Media Laboratory
Behind the content management system, our media laboratory provides more localized and customized content and media with different kinds of Service Plug-In module to provide local company or government department with easy access and integration with business channel. Furthermore, media laboratory also provides real-time content based on local requirements over certain special hardware and software, such as: real-time picture snap-shot monitoring system, real-time video capturing system etc.
Generally, we have 3 channels for content:
Special HW Content: built on special HW and software (Content Tools as Content Converter), such as picture snapshot system;
Standard Media Content: based on original raw material from Media companies, mobile content is generated by some content tools/content composers;
3rd party channel: this includes a lot of models, such as: contracted self-created content, 3rd party censored content etc.
Once these content are available, in order to ensure the quality of the content, further processing and testing need to be done by different elements of the laboratory:
Transcoding Engine: post-processing or real-time processing for the content based on the requirements of different applications;
Compatibility Testing Environment: Important methods to ensure the content work well with different kinds of terminals and grant better experience for subscribers.
Content Processing Model: mainly intended for specific purpose, such as: DRM tag, content editing (subtitle/interactive button etc.), auto-Filtering etc.
Software Engineering
Based on CMM3 development model, with cooperation of world-wide partners, focus on the software engineering on the following aspects: Telecom Software, Service Software, B2B Software, e-Business software, and middleware software etc.
